Millions of parents now ask AI chatbots about sleep, feeding, crying and behaviour, but nobody has tested that advice in the open. Rob Hughes will talk through the building of ParentBench, an open benchmark that puts 100 real parenting questions to 10 AI models and has both AI and professionals score the answers. He will share provisional insights emerging from this tool.
Rob Hughes is a medical doctor and epidemiologist at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, and a dad of three. He is also the co-founder and CEO of Early Ideas, which builds Tandem, a story app for families with young children, and leads ParentBench, an open benchmark of AI parenting advice.
